Delete Clients From Your Client List

How to delete up to 100 clients at once, which clients can't be deleted, and what happens after.

You can delete up to 100 clients at a time from your Clients List screen. It's the fastest way to clear out duplicates, personal contacts and clients who never booked.

How do I delete several clients at once?

  1. Open your Clients List screen and tap ••• at the top right corner.

  2. Tap Bulk Delete Clients.

  3. Tap each client you want to delete, or tap Select all to select everyone in your current view.

  4. Tap Delete.

  5. Review the confirmation, then tap Delete again.

You can search, or use the All, Never booked and Duplicates filters, while selecting. Select all only selects the clients in the view you're looking at, not your whole list.

Can I delete more than 100 clients?

Not in one go. If your view has more than 100 clients, Select all picks the first 100. Delete those, then repeat.

How do I clean up duplicate clients?

Tap the Duplicates filter. Clients who share a phone number or email are grouped together. In each group, the copy with no appointment history is selected and the other is labeled Keep.

Keep is only a suggestion, so check each group before you delete. You can change what's selected.

Why can't I delete some clients?

A client is skipped if they have:

  • An upcoming appointment

  • An unpaid appointment

  • A pending charge

These clients are flagged while you select and aren't counted in Delete. A saved card on file doesn't stop a delete.

What happens when I delete a client?

  • Deleting is permanent. You can't undo it or restore a deleted client.

  • The client is removed from your client list, your email and text campaign audiences, and your automated messages.

  • Past appointments and payments stay in your history and reports.

  • Only your client list changes. The client's own StyleSeat account isn't affected.

When it's done, you'll see how many clients were deleted and how many were skipped. Tap a skipped client to open the appointment that's blocking the delete.
